Wish Upon a New Year’s Star

“Perhaps home is not a place but simply an irrevocable condition.” James Baldwin, Giovanni’s Room

I have a simple hope for the New Year.  I wish that all who seek it find the comfort of home.  May those without homes find a place to dwell.  May those who find themselves alone discover the solace of family and friends.  May those who are ill at ease find comfort in their own skin.  Happy New Year to you, and you, and you.
